Dr Yu Mo is a Christ Church Fellow at the Environmental Change Institute, University of Oxford. Yu received her PhD from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA.

Yu is interested in the role of coastal ecosystems as nature-based solutions for climate risk adaptation and mitigation. Her current research focuses on their use in storm protection, particularly in quantifying how the ecosystems’ own resilience influences their functionality. She is passionate about advancing Earth and data science methodologies to enhance our understanding of coastal ecosystem dynamics on regional and global scales.
